PUBLISHER “TOWER PRESS”: Published mainly women’s magazines from the 1930’s until the early 70’s. It feels to me like Tower Press published dozens of titles of very similar magazines: Aunt Jane's Sewing Circle, Popular Needlework, Stitch'n Sew, Olde Time Needlework, Old Time Crochet Patterns & Designs, Women's Circle, Women's Circle Crochet, Women's Comfort, The Good Olde Days, Pattern World - I doubt I've found them all yet. They were all printed on the cheapest newsprint paper, so it is rare to find any from the sixties, before they started adding the glossy covers, that have not darkened considerably with age It is difficult to find spines in extremely good condition - nearly pristine, but these have been encased in plastic and carefully stored. See photo of spine in listings.
