This is a very striking vintage table lighter in the shape of a horses head with bridle and reins. Most likely dating from the early 1900's, this will appeal to anyone with equestrian interests or a lighter or tobacciana collector. The lighter operates by pulling the reins outwards - the cap still pops open and the flint wheel turns. Although not currently producing a flame, a new wick and lighter fluid will probably get this working again (no guarantees - sold as seen). The metal is tarnished but this gives the piece a genuine patina, and the leather reigns look original. The base unscrews for easy refills - the large screw is for refilling, the smaller to replace the flint. Please look at the photos carefully, as this is the actual item for sale.
