1869 PRINTING OF THE PROTESTANT EPISCOPAL COMMON PRAYER BOOK This prayer book is leather bound. The book carries a forward from 1817 by the President of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Pennsylvania stating that this volume is a valid version. It was gifted to one Wayne L. Pryor of Wellsville, NY. and the signature of the gifter is there but I can't figure it out. The title page has been torn at the top 1/5th of the page. There is writing on the inside cover, both front and back. The leather is original and is in very good to good condition from what I can see but it does have an approximate 2" piece missing from the top page protector portion. There is a small dog ear at the top of one page and a detached ribbon page marker. The book measures 6" tall, 4" wide and just over an inch in depth and weighs about 12 ounces.
