Because you can melt down the clay, mold it onto the styrofoam ball, make your head shape, and cover it in scotchcast, once dry it creates a Fursuit base, these are waterproof, bendable (to a degree) sturdy, breathable, and lightweight! This is basically all you need to start making these bases, the last two images from @/kemocube on instagram are how they make there's! With this exact stuff so you can make bases just like theirs.
