There are VERY few of these editions from 1912 available. It is a lovely, old book. The material used for the covering feels and looks to me like red leather, but I am not an expert, so please look at the photos closely. There is beautiful gilt lettering and designs on the covers as well as along the binding. This rare 112 year old book is in good, used condition. The top & fore-edge of the front cover is quite worn, see closeup photo of this. The corners of the covers as well as the headcap and tailcap are worn, and I've shown this in the photos. The red place keeping ribbon is literally hanging by a thread, but it's still there and I've shown a closeup. Please consult the photos, and feel free to request more photos if you like. 5
