Vintage Chinese basket weave suitcase made from wicker/rattan with bamboo frame. The basket weave is in an intricate, geometric diamond pattern, with a domed body. Wide natural bamboo holds it all together. There is a metal latch that you could attach a lock to. Rattan covered metal handles. Makes a great display piece. Will probably not hold up to abuse or plane, train or bus luggage compartment. Good vintage condition. Some light wear shows on the bottom corners (see photo). The interior is very clean and odor free; no fading. . Dimensions 17" wide x 13" deep x 9" high; handles are 3 inches high
