The size of these beautiful living Yushu trees is measured from 26 inches to 27 inches at the root. It's rooted in a five-gallon jar The plant may experience some trauma during transit, and in some cases, it can take days to weeks for the plant to recover in its new environment. If the box is roughed up, a twig or leaf may fall off, but this is a rare occurrence and emerald plants are surprisingly resilient and will grow new plants within 10-14 days. Plant Care I recommend making a 5 or 10 gallon jar with a drain hole at the bottom, as it will grow larger with more space. Also for soil mix: you can use this mix of half peat moss, half organic planted soil, plus a spoonful of perlite to ensure proper ventilation with growth and watering. Watering: You can use this 5-gallon jar size of 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups of water once a week during the winter months. Once the temperature rises, you can use 1.5 to 2 cups of water.
