Add a vintage touch to your home decor with this pair of large chalkware freeform lamps from Plasto Mfg. The lamps feature scroll and triangle patterns that add an artistic touch to any room. These lamps are perfect for collectors and are a great addition to any midcentury decor. Plasto Manufacturing Company was founded in 1945 by Joseph M. Borowitz. The company was located in Chicago, Illinois, USA and originally manufactured and sold hand painted, plaster cast wall hangings. By the mid 1960's, the company was a leading manufacturer of lamps. Height to finials 31" plaster body 18" width at base 7". Finials are plastic. Lamps are largely original (see pics 8-11 for cosmetic issues) Last pic shows one lamp with shade for illustration purposes only and is not included. Cords are original, plugs have been replaced, one lamp cord is shorter than the other, lamps light up, but recommend wiring replacement (Home depot sells kits and see youtube for instructional videos)
