This is a rare, limited-edition printing of Folk-lore and Fable by Aesop, Brothers Grimm and Anderson. It is published by P. F. Collier & Son in 1909 as part of the prestigious Harvard Classics series. This edition, titled “Alumni Edition De Luxe," was strictly limited to 1,000 numbered sets, and this copy is No. 885. Features include: - Released in 1909 which is the original Harvard Classics release year -Rough cut pages and a top gilded page edge -Hand-numbered limited edition (No. 885 of 1,000) -Elegant deluxe binding with high-quality materials -Planned and designed at the Collier Press by William Patten - Part of the renowned Harvard Classics series, curated by Dr. Charles W. Eliot -Measures 8 5/8" long & 6" wide In pretty good condition for its age. There is some staining to the hardcover. No missing pages or major marks on any of the pages(some minor pencil marks). Some of the binding may be a little loose on some of the pages. NOTE: I do have 13 other works in this set.
