Overview: Up for sale is an incredible moody impressionist oil painting on stretched canvas by listed Norwegian artist, Oscar Sivertzen (1876-1940). Sivertzen has auction records exceeding $3,000.00. The painting depicts a lovely scene of a forest path. It is masterfully executed, with a subtle and definitive impressionist touch. Signed "Osc. Sivertzen" and dated "32" at lower right. It is framed in a period wood frame that compliments it nicely. Condition: Painting has one major condition issue - an approximately 1.5 inch slit upper-right of center. Frames shows some minor scuffing. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 17 inches high x 16 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 20.5 inches high x 19.5 inches wide.
