Shipped bareroot with some soil without pot. You are buying exact plant in the photo. Easy care tropical. Moderately toxic to pets, may cause vomiting if consumed. Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct light will burn leaves. Too much shade will produce faded color leaves. Water moderately. Allow the top inch of the mix to dry between waterings. A wet mix may cause root rot. Needs less water in winter. Provide a light potting mix with good drainage. You can mix a good amount of perlite into a standard potting mix to help with drainage and root aeration. Feed with a balanced, diluted organic mix during spring and summer. Prefers temperatures in the 60s and 70s F. Avoid cold drafts and do not place against a cold window in winter. Does best in high humidity, provide a humidifier or give the leaves a regular misting and/or provide a pebbled water tray for the pot to sit on. Don't let the pot sit directly in water as this can lead to root rot.
