The original painting is a " tempera" politing by Mr. F. Blackbear Busin. Quoting from the National Geographic Magazine, dated March 1955, " In art matters, Bosin le entirely self-taught. While serving with the United States Marines he was hospitalized for six months in Hawall. There a friend, recognizing bie latent talent, encouraged him to make art his career." F.
