Lush fruit Urns, scroll & swag motif encircle the rim. The pattern decoration is hand applied Enamel which is very labor intense & costly to produce. The edges are Rimmed in dark green. Ventnor PATTERN. Fruit Design, Ivory background, Green Trimmed, Marked W996, The Back Stamp features the iconic Wedgwood Portland Jug & reads: Wedgwood Made in England G2 Ventnor USA patent June 22, 1926 The explanation of this Ventnor Pattern is described as: " The motif of the Ventnor Design is the plentious harvest of the fruits of the earth" There are no chips, cracks or scratches .
