Vintage flower basket quilt - this estate sale treasure measures 64 by 71 - hand quilted & appliquéd - it is striking with the beautiful colors & red & white dashing - as with any vintage quilt this charmer does have fading on the red sashing which is pictured -it also looks like some of the quilters threads need clipped - it must have been stored after making - I’m thinking this was made in the 1940s — quilter machine pieced the baskets then embroidered the flowers / - lots of work I.
