This is a very rare hand made in Chile copper bowl. It has a patinaed and a bright area enhanced with brushing in various directions. The bowl is made of a thin copper, sturdy, but will flex. The design is raised and is not embossed, not exactly sure how they made this. The outer rim is not exactly the same height as it goes around and has slight higher and lower areas, it is hand made. The bottom of the bowl is in excellent condition. There are some scratches to the bright areas and it appears that the piece is sprayed with a protective lacquer. When the bowl is displayed the bright areas change as you walk past and causes the image to change. It is a really neat piece. I have owned this piece for over 40 years, I bought it when I was a kid. I remember being with my parents, somewhere, really liking it and my Dad let me buy it, I had to pay him back. Please see all photos as they are the description. No returns. Pet free smoke free home.
