The fully natural, raw sculptural display piece features a large central tapered phantom amethyst that’s engaged with radiating prisms of smaller, terminated amethyst crystal points, all nestled in the mineral matrix. Making this gem extra special is that it backlights beautifully through the translucent stones and matrix- giving a glow of purple, pink, violet, gold, lavender, fuchsia, golden peach! Guerrero amethyst mines are famous worldwide as a top source of high quality specimens. The elongated crystals are thicker at the lower and mid area, then taper to a quartz termination point.
