100% works, but you have to wait til the time it's currently set to start it (6:10 in this example). The setting knob will control the hour hand with a struggle, but it seems very poorly connected to the minute hand. May be an easy tightening fix, but I have no idea. Has a separate switch on the back for the light so it can be turned off while the clock is running. Currently fitted with a red c7 incandescent bulb. Wiring is original Some superficial surface wear as shown. Very slight dirt inside the glass. Floral side ornaments are very slightly loose (another easy fix). Approx 10"W x 8.5"H Item weight 3+ lbs
