Also, the right cassette deck fades in and out in a pattern. This issue remains regardless of the tape, and the tapes work great in the left deck. I suspect that the issue here is the cassette read head which can be replaced fairly easily, but you have to research and find the right head. I don't do this sort of repair, so I didn't mess with this either, especially since the left one works fine. The item is in excellent pre-owned condition and comes as shown above.
