This is a delightful Vintage 1950s White Polar or Teddy Bear Cookie Jar. It was made by the Gilner Company. It is a lovely white bear with Hand Painted features. This big bear is simply loaded with personality! He is sitting down and looks up at you with his snappy black eyes. He has his tongue out licking his top lip. His head lifts off to hide the tasty cookies inside. He has one chip on a paw (pictured). Otherwise, no other cracks, crazing or repairs I can find. He measures 11. 5 inches tall and has a 6 inch base. Open to reasonable offers. Comes exactly as pictured. This is in used/preowned condition. See pictures for details.
