I was inspired from watching The Spanish Princess on Starz which prompted me to learn so much more about that period of history. It also was eye opening about how difficult being a Queen was, how women suffered at the hands of men and were blamed for almost everything that went wrong in a marriage. Katherine was brave and wanted to serve the country, love her husband and be a true Queen. She never gave up on herself even when she lived in poverty.o
