5" x 6" This is an 1883 FB Rogers silver plated round butter dish featuring detailed lion legs with claw foot design. The dish is designed in a Victorian style and made of silverplate. This antique roll top piece is from the late 19th century. The dome has ribs to add to its elegance. The front clasp to lift the lid is also intricately detailed. The glass insert is thick and chip and crack free and has a lovely leaf pattern. This rare antique piece adds a touch of elegance to any dining table. I polished this piece and its 99.5 percent tarnish free. You may want to touch up any areas using your choice of silver polish. I recommend silversmith in the light blue bottle.
