This unique puma/mountain lion alebrije design was created by Noberto Fabian. Not only is it hand carved, but has other animals carved into the design all painted with his wife's signature patterns from copal wood in Oaxaca, Mexico. It was bought from him in person where he visited for a workshop in Boston. He explained that he was sculpting these for a long time when his wife came from another village and was inspired to add designs from ancient monuments in her hometown.
