Vintage original movie poster window card (14”x22”) for “Fallen Angel”, a film noir from 20th Century Fox directed by Otto Preminger (year after he made film noir classic, “Laura”) & starring Dana Andrews, Alice Faye & Linda Darnell. The vibrant colors & cool hard-bitten images on window card are in terrific condition. Window card has minor signs of use & slight edge & corner wear. There are unobtrusive stains & discoloration, mostly in borders & blank areas. There is minor mark by 20th Century Fox logo, for example. It has also darkened slightly with age around edges & border. Overall, window card is in really fine condition, captures a film noir vibe, & will display extremely well. Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Because of his success in Preminger’s “Laura”, Dana Andrews was asked to star in this film noir by Darryl Zanuck & Preminger.
