This antique table cigar lighter made by Gorham Silver Co is a beautiful piece from 1891. The silver plate design adds a touch of elegance to any collection or display. The lighter is in great shape and ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. Made in 1891 by Gorham Silver, as noted by the lion stamp on the bottom. During Victorian times it was commonplace to have a lighter on a side table or desk for "gentlemen" to light their cigars. This piece is in remarkable condition, heavy weight quality piece. Designed and weighted perfectly, resists being tipped over. The top screws off to add oil and wick. (not included)
