All original pre-Mattel (believe she is 1991) Samantha is stamped Pleasant Company on the back of her neck, and is in beautiful condition (such a captivating facial expression!) She obviously has been very well cared for over the years. She has the look of the white body Samantha dolls- very long, lighter brown hair and very squeezable vinyl. Her soft eyelashes appear to be all intact, and her thick silky soft hair maintains original curl. Eyes function normally, she can hold a pose, and is clean with no odors. She still has her original flat strings. Samantha is wearing her meet outfit - dress (tagged "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company 1986"), matching hair ribbon, black ribbed tights, white bloomers (elastic in waist has disintegrated over the years) and Mary Jane shoes. Samantha has her maroon velvet bonnet, pink purse, and embroidered handkerchief.
