The Padilla pottery tradition hails from Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico, an area celebrated for its rich ceramic heritage. The Padilla family has been creating pottery for generations, with a focus on functional pieces that are also works of art. Their designs often draw on traditional Mexican motifs while incorporating modern and practical elements. It is crafted from stoneware or earthenware, known for its rustic aesthetic. The coffee pot features a simple yet elegant design with a light brown glaze. Decorative hand-incised pattern encircle the pot and lid, adding an artisan touch.
