This beautifully etched & flared uranium glass bowl was made in the 1930’s by one of the lesser-known makers of Depression Glass (by today’s standards, at least), Paden City Glass Company. The etch on this piece showcases two symmetrical angelic baby cherubs (aka Cupids) holding floral wreaths on either side of several symbols with a crown atop them. Around either cherub are ornate Art Nouveau style scroll or floral patterns. The bowl is more teal in color than the classic uranium green. It has paneling that flare outward at the top. It measures approximately 10-inches in length and the etching is very crisp and clear; there are no cracks, chips, or other cosmetic damage. This pattern is one of Paden City’s most popular and due to its rarity, it’s very sought after. Don’t miss your opportunity to add this rare, mint condition piece to your own uranium collection! You’ll surely be the only one you know who can say they have it!
