Easy to grow in miracle grow cactus potting soil in well drained pot or in ground with good amended soil. Produces large white flowers and Red edible fruit. Best to plant in pot if outside of Florida until Spring than put into ground in warm areas that don't freeze. Can be grown in full sun or partial shade. Partial shade helps to keep the darker green blue color. This cactus is not organic, I cleaned it w. hot soapy water and sprayed it w. scale preventive insecticide which should continue to be done monthly. I used spectricide triazicide spray.
