This listing is for a vintage sterling silver match safe or vesta This piece has lovely etched curves and twirls; one side has a blank circle in the center which may be there for engravings or monograms The piece opens at the top which is hallmarked on the side edge: we cannot make out what appears to be the first two letters, but then it looks like H H and then an anchor, lion passant and q. This piece measures approx. 1.5" high x about 1.5" from side to side The piece weighs 23.5 grams This match safe/holder also has a loop on the side which allows it to also be worn as a pendant Lovely piece!
