Contains 39 beautiful full page color drawings of ladies from many walks of life from the early 1900s. Each is artistically portrayed, including some displaying the artist's "fadeaway girl" technique. The book also features 40 black and white miniature drawings (12 untitled) on the pages opposite the color drawings. The original owner of this book also taped original early 1900s illustrated covers from "Good Housekeeping" that were also illustrated by Coles Phillips into the pages of this book (several examples included in the above photos) *cover is worn but pages are in great condition, especially for its age. Illustrations can be framed if desired or scanned for prints. This book is rare and several other copies that exist sell for $300 or more
